"And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. ... And of his fullness have all we received, and grace for grace" (John 1:14,16).

Unite my heart to fear Thy Name
(Photo Credit: Tamara, 06/08/12)
Teach me thy way, O Lord; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name.
Psalm 86:11
Psalm 86:11
I'd like to ask that you join our family in praying for Hannah and her parents as they are currently heavy and concerned re: the changes in Hannah's heart that may lead to another surgery.
Recently, I posted a Youtube video, dated March 9, 2012, which includes a glimpse of Hannah at the 2 minute and 34 second mark of the clip.
As of yesterday, this is what's going on in her precious little life as shared by her parents through a couple of email prayer chain letters...
"Today is her last day of school and was supposed to [be]
graduating (walking) tonight, but she had two seizures this AM. Tamara took her
to the Dr. and she has a head cold, fever, and possibly the stomach bug. The
Dr. also thinks the seizures may be heart related and suggested that we call
her cardiologist. She was supposed to have her six month check-up on the 29th
but that has now been moved to tomorrow at 0945. Life has not been fair to
Hannah and Tamara but we know that God is in control and we count our blessings
daily! With that said, she will not be walking tonight as it will not be fair
to subject the other kids to her sickness."

This morning I received this update...
"I type this with a heavy heart. We just met with Dr.
Marvin and he noted that there were changes in Hannah's heart, for the worse,
since her last visit in December. He will take her before the clinic (all the
doctors and surgeons in their group) next Thursday. If they agree that surgery
is needed now a heart cath will be our next step; however, since our surgeon is
now in Birmingham we will see if insurance will allow the cath and surgery to
be done in Birmingham. While this is not the news we wanted to hear, God has
granted us six more months for the past 2 ½ years. Dr. Marvin said that we have
known that she has needed another surgery, he just believes it is now the time.
This would also be a good time since it is over the summer and she is out of
school. As you can see, she loves Dr. Marvin and was checking her chart with
him."

Our Helper He
A mighty fortress is our God, a bulwark never failing;
Our helper He, amid the flood of mortal ills prevailing:
For still our ancient foe doth seek to work us woe;
His craft and power are great, and, armed with cruel hate,
On earth is not his equal.
Did we in our own strength confide, our striving would be losing;
Were not the right Man on our side, the Man of God’s own choosing:
Dost ask who that may be? Christ Jesus, it is He;
Lord Sabaoth, His Name, from age to age the same,
And He must win the battle.
And though this world, with devils filled, should threaten to undo us,
We will not fear, for God hath willed His truth to triumph through us:
The Prince of Darkness grim, we tremble not for him;
His rage we can endure, for lo, his doom is sure,
One little word shall fell him.
That word above all earthly powers, no thanks to them, abideth;
The Spirit and the gifts are ours through Him Who with us sideth:
Let goods and kindred go, this mortal life also;
The body they may kill: God’s truth abideth still,
His kingdom is forever.
