Being that my husband is quick witted, I thought I'd share one of the many ways he so easily turns a tense situation around here into a fun and lighthearted one!
Me-"<*groan*> [Unnamed child], come take care of this mess you left."
Mark- [Directed to the unnamed child as they were approaching the mess] "Mmmmm, sounds like a good Old Testament name, 'Messyouleft'."
All within hearing range of their father filled our home with laughter, while I stood amazed, and wondered, "How does he do it?" I admit, I laughed too!!
