| E’en down to old age all My people shall prove My sovereign, eternal, unchangeable love; And then, when grey hairs shall their temples adorn, Like lambs they shall still in My bosom be borne. How Firm a Foundation Author: George Keith, 1787 |
"And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. ... And of his fullness have all we received, and grace for grace" (John 1:14,16).

How Firm My Father’s Faith

The LORD, My Life, My Joy, My All
Oh, may His love continually delight your souls, and His honor lie near your hearts!
You have a God whose love does not decay, whose mercy never fails, whose faithfulness is like the great mountains, yes, firmer than the lasting hills, "for the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed;
but God's kindness towards you shall not depart, nor the covenant of His peace be removed, says the Lord, that has mercy on you."
Oh, rest your dear souls, your weary heads, in the sweet bosom, in the kind arms, of the Lord your own God. There you will find ease in pain, peace in trouble, security in danger, fullness in need, and life in death. Through life with all its trials, and death with all its sorrows, will the Lord your life, your joy, your all, be with you!

Oh, that I may delight in the LORD as serenely.

Fill Up My Heart with You
Empty my Hands-
Words and music-

I've got voices in my head and they are so strong
And I'm getting sick of this oh Lord, how long
Will I be haunted by the fear that I believe
My hands like locks on cages
Of these dreams I can't set free
But if I let these dreams die
If I lay down all my wounded pride
If I let these dreams die
Will I find that letting go lets me come alive
So empty my hands
Fill up my heart
Capture my mind with You
These voices speak instead
what's right is wrong
And I'm giving into them,
please Lord, how long
Will I be held captive by the lies that I believe
My heart's in constant chaos and it keeps me so deceived
But if I let these dreams die
If I could just lay down my dark desire
If I let these dreams die
Will I find you brought me back to life
So empty my hands
Fill up my heart
Capture my mind with You
'Cause my mind is like a building burning down
I need your grace to keep me, keep me from the ground
And my heart is just a prisoner of war
A slave to what it wants and to what I'm fighting for
So won't you empty my hands
Fill up my heart
Capture my mind with You
Empty my hands
Fill up my heart
Capture my mind with You
With You
I need You now

Thankful for the memory of her presence in our home, for the time we shared, together.
So I pause to pray…
LORD, pls capture her heart and mind with You.
Capture us both.
